Hospice Care of the Lowcountry: Providing Compassionate Care and Honoring Life in Our Community

At Hospice Care of the Lowcountry, our mission is to honor life by providing compassionate care and guidance for those in our community experiencing serious illness, end-of-life, and grief. We are dedicated to ensuring that individuals and families receive the support they need during challenging times.

Expanding Reach and Services

In the past year, we have seen remarkable growth in our impact on the community. With over 3,200 members in our community receiving our support and more than 800 patients benefiting from our specialized care, we are making a significant difference. Additionally, our services have expanded to meet the evolving needs of our community, including the introduction of counseling in our serious illness service line, the addition of a new Medical Director, and the launch of the region’s first Community-Based Palliative Care Program.

Dedicated Team and Comprehensive Care

Our highly trained professionals have conducted over 20,000 visits to our patients in the last year, ensuring that individuals receive the comprehensive care and support they need. Our compassionate and holistic approach to care empowers us to offer guidance and comfort to those facing serious illness and end-of-life.

Providing Charity Care and Support

We are proud to have provided over $300,000 worth of charity care to patients who lacked financial means or medical insurance coverage. This support directly impacted the lives of these individuals and their families, offering comfort, solace, and support during challenging times.

Yacht Hop Event: May 18th at Wexford

To further support our mission and continue making an impact, we invite you to join us at the Yacht Hop event on May 18th at Wexford. This special event offers an opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy an evening of festivities, and raise funds to support our compassionate care and services. Your participation and support at the Yacht Hop will directly contribute to our ability to honor life and provide essential care and guidance to those in our community facing serious illness, end-of-life, and grief.
